For tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming, the Lenovo LOQ 15 is a better choice due to its more powerful processor and graphics card. However, the Apple MacBook Air 15 excels in general usage with its high-resolution display, better battery life, and lighter weight—making it a very portable device. The MacBook's MacOS also tends to have better software optimization and could be a better fit for those used to Apple's ecosystem. On the flip side, the Lenovo offers more storage and memory at a slightly higher cost but is heavier, making it less convenient for frequent travel. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Air 15 has a better screen than the Lenovo LOQ 15 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Apple MacBook Air 15's screen excels in general use and engineering tasks due to its high resolution and brightness, along with its ability to display a wide range of colors accurately, essential for detail-oriented work like design. However, its lower refresh rate limits its performance in 3D applications, where smoother motion is crucial. The Lenovo LOQ 15, while still offering a good resolution and adequate brightness for day-to-day tasks and color-sensitive work, falls short for gaming and 3D content where its refresh rate doesn't meet the needs for high-speed visuals.

How the Apple MacBook Air 15 (2023) and the Lenovo LOQ 15 compare to other laptops
"The Apple MacBook Air 15 is boringly good. The new MacBook Air 15 is a very good, but also boring device, because apart from the larger screen and the higher price, there are no differences compared to the smaller MacBook Air M2 from last year. No new processor, no additional ports, just the usual basic hardware - but the overall package is extremely good and it simply works. Above all, the lack of fans is an aspect that should not be underestimated in everyday use. In our opinion, the Air could be a lot better, but Apple goes easy on itself here."
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."
