The Apple MacBook Air (2022) is typically less expensive, more portable due to its lighter weight, and has a quieter fanless operation, making it well-suited for general use, thanks to its efficient Apple M2 chip. It also boasts a longer battery life and a higher-resolution screen, which provides sharper images. On the other hand, the MSI Pulse GL66, while somewhat more expensive, offers more power for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming, due to its Intel i7 processor and Nvidia RTX 3070 graphics card. However, it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less ideal for frequent travel. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Air has a better screen than the MSI Pulse GL66 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The MacBook Air's screen offers high resolution and brightness, making text and images sharp and easy to view, which is essential for general tasks, while a wide color gamut ensures accurate color representation crucial for engineering and design tasks; however, its typically lower refresh rate is a disadvantage for 3D applications where fluid motion is key. The MSI Pulse GL66, with its fair resolution and brightness, provides an adequate display for everyday activities and sufficient detail for technical work, but its moderate color range may not fully satisfy professional design standards. Additionally, despite being aimed at gamers, the lower refresh rate of the GL66's screen can detract from the immersive and responsive experience expected in gaming and 3D scenarios.

How the Apple MacBook Air (2022) and the MSI Pulse GL66 compare to other laptops
"The Apple MacBook Air M2 Entry is a very good, but too expensive daily MacBook. The new MacBook Air M2 is undoubtedly once again a very good mobile companion, but we are still a little bit disappointed on a very high level, which is definitely connected with the increased price point. The new chassis is extremely slim and the front edge is no problem during typing, but the bezels are pretty wide for a modern device and in addition with the vertical space required for the notch, the new Air has larger footprint than some Windows rivals."
"The MSI Pulse GL66 has a lot of potential for improvement. Although the RTX 3060 is only able to use 105 watts, we still liked the gaming performance, particularly since this also makes the Pulse comfortably efficient but not slow by any means. Neither the dark display with its lame response times, nor USB 2.0 or the lack of Thunderbolt will please real gamers. The use of a sticker factory seal, which is at least questionable, also won't inspire any enthusiasm. It is obvious that the laptop is really designed for price-conscious gamers."
