The Apple MacBook Air (2022) is a great choice for those who prioritize a compact, lightweight design with a high-quality display and silent operation, making it ideal for general use and productivity on the go. It offers excellent battery life and a robust build quality, with a keyboard and trackpad that are among the best in its class. However, it's not designed for intensive gaming or specialized engineering tasks.
On the other hand, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED is suited for users who need more storage and a larger screen with vibrant colors and high refresh rate, which is beneficial for media consumption and some gaming. It has a more powerful GPU and CPU combo for better performance in 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks, but it's bulkier and has shorter battery life compared to the MacBook Air. It also runs Windows, which may be preferable for certain software compatibility.
Consider the MacBook Air for its portability and the Apple ecosystem integration, or the ASUS Vivobook for its performance and larger display, depending on your primary use cases and whether you value a more portable device over raw performance. Give Feedback

How the Apple MacBook Air (2022) and the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED compare to other laptops
"The Apple MacBook Air M2 Entry is a very good, but too expensive daily MacBook. The new MacBook Air M2 is undoubtedly once again a very good mobile companion, but we are still a little bit disappointed on a very high level, which is definitely connected with the increased price point. The new chassis is extremely slim and the front edge is no problem during typing, but the bezels are pretty wide for a modern device and in addition with the vertical space required for the notch, the new Air has larger footprint than some Windows rivals."
"The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop."
