The ASUS Zenbook S 13 is typically less expensive and offers a high-resolution OLED screen suited for general use and a lightweight design, making it very portable and practical for frequent travelers or mobile professionals. It includes impressive storage and RAM, and its integrated graphics are suitable for casual use, but not intensive gaming or heavy 3D tasks. On the other hand, the MSI Pulse GL66 is slightly more expensive, with a powerful dedicated GPU and a high refresh-rate screen, making it an excellent choice for gamers and engineers needing to run demanding software but it's bulkier and offers shorter battery life, making it less convenient for on-the-go use. The ASUS Zenbook S 13 has a better screen than the MSI Pulse GL66 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook S 13 offers a high resolution and vivid display that provides clarity and comfort for everyday use, alongside covering a wide spectrum of colors that are crucial for precision in engineering and design tasks. However, its lower refresh rate can make fast-paced visuals in gaming and 3D applications less fluid, which is a setback for users focused on those activities. On the other hand, the MSI Pulse GL66, while acceptable for daily tasks and non-critical design work, lacks both the wide color range required for high-fidelity design aid and the high refresh rate needed for smooth gaming and 3D rendering.

"The Asus Zenbook S 13 is the slimmest OLED ultrabook worldwide struggles with annoying fans. The new Zenbook S 13 leaves us with mixed feelings, particularly since last year's model was so good. Asus has completely reworked the device, making the laptop noticeably slimmer. The result also looks good and the case makes a great impression, particularly also in terms of the stability. The new plasma ceramic surface feels great, and there are no problems with fingerprints. In addition, it now includes some of the known connections such as an HDMI port and a regular USB-A connection, which is a good achievement in such a slim device."
"The MSI Pulse GL66 has a lot of potential for improvement. Although the RTX 3060 is only able to use 105 watts, we still liked the gaming performance, particularly since this also makes the Pulse comfortably efficient but not slow by any means. Neither the dark display with its lame response times, nor USB 2.0 or the lack of Thunderbolt will please real gamers. The use of a sticker factory seal, which is at least questionable, also won't inspire any enthusiasm. It is obvious that the laptop is really designed for price-conscious gamers."
