The ASUS Zenbook S 13 is more portable and offers better battery life, making it suitable for on-the-go use and general tasks. Its OLED screen has superior color range and brightness, which is great for creative work, but it has less powerful integrated graphics. On the other hand, the Dell Alienware X17 R2 has a larger screen with a much higher refresh rate, better suited for intensive gaming and 3D tasks due to its high-performance CPU and dedicated high-end GPU. It is heavier with shorter battery life, which might be less convenient for frequent travel. Both have ample storage, high RAM for multitasking, and backlit keyboards. Choose the ASUS for portability and day-to-day tasks, or the Dell if gaming and performance-intensive applications are your priority. Give Feedback

How the ASUS Zenbook S 13 and the Dell Alienware X17 R2 compare to other laptops
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 is the slimmest OLED ultrabook worldwide struggles with annoying fans. The new Zenbook S 13 leaves us with mixed feelings, particularly since last year's model was so good. Asus has completely reworked the device, making the laptop noticeably slimmer. The result also looks good and the case makes a great impression, particularly also in terms of the stability. The new plasma ceramic surface feels great, and there are no problems with fingerprints. In addition, it now includes some of the known connections such as an HDMI port and a regular USB-A connection, which is a good achievement in such a slim device."
"The Alienware x17 R2 recognizes targets a significantly higher TGP of 175 W for a roughly 30 percent performance boost over laptops running on the ~100 W GeForce RTX 3080 Ti like the Razer Blade 15 or Gigabyte Aero YE5. Similar results can be found through the CPU as well. This single aspect of the Alienware is perhaps the biggest differentiating factor between it and other ultrathin gaming laptops. Of course, the "performance at all cost" approach comes with drawbacks. Power consumption in particular is through the roof and battery life suffers because of it even when on the lowest performance settings."
