The ASUS Zenbook S 13 is a premium, highly portable laptop with a stunning OLED screen, which makes it great for general use and work that requires accurate color representation. It's lightweight with a solid battery life, making it suitable for on-the-go usage. On the other hand, the ASUS ROG Strix G15 is designed for gaming and more intensive tasks like 3D rendering or machine learning, as it has a powerful AMD processor and dedicated Nvidia graphics. While it also has a solid build and good heat management, it's heavier and has a shorter battery life, so it's less convenient to carry around. Both are similarly priced, so your choice should depend on whether you prioritize portability and screen quality (Zenbook S 13) or performance for demanding applications and gaming (ROG Strix G15). The ASUS Zenbook S 13 has a better screen than the ASUS ROG Strix G15 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the Zenbook S 13 boasts higher resolution and brighter display, which makes images and text more crisp and vivid compared to the ROG Strix G15, enhancing the overall viewing experience. For engineering and design, the Zenbook S 13 covers a wider range of color gamuts, offering more accurate color reproduction which is crucial for detailed and color-critical work, whereas the ROG Strix G15, while still good, doesn't match up in color accuracy. How the ASUS Zenbook S 13 and the ASUS ROG Strix G15 compare to other laptops
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 is the slimmest OLED ultrabook worldwide struggles with annoying fans. The new Zenbook S 13 leaves us with mixed feelings, particularly since last year's model was so good. Asus has completely reworked the device, making the laptop noticeably slimmer. The result also looks good and the case makes a great impression, particularly also in terms of the stability. The new plasma ceramic surface feels great, and there are no problems with fingerprints. In addition, it now includes some of the known connections such as an HDMI port and a regular USB-A connection, which is a good achievement in such a slim device."
"The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is a successful high-performance 15-inch laptop. The Asus ROG Strix impresses with an elaborate design and fast hardware. The latter can unleash its potential well in the large 15-inch case and achieve a decent performance boost compared to the previous generation. Especially the stunning 300 Hz display as well as the RTX 3070 and its generous TDP give gamers their money's worth. Asus didn't neglect seemingly small details, either, such as the keyboard and the maintenance options. The ROG Strix G15 offers a lot of pure performance and excellent workmanship in a 15-inch format, but connectivity leaves something to be desired."
