The ASUS Zenbook S 13 is generally less expensive with better battery life, a superior OLED display, and very high portability, making it a solid choice for general use and work that requires a color-accurate screen. However, it lacks a touchscreen and might not handle intensive tasks as well due to its less powerful processor and integrated graphics. In contrast, the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is somewhat more expensive with a shorter battery life, though it compensates with a touchscreen, a much more powerful processor, dedicated graphics for gaming or creative work like 3D rendering and machine learning, and higher overall performance for engineering tasks. It has a good portability score but is heavier compared to the Zenbook S 13. Give Feedback

For general use, both the ASUS Zenbook S 13 and ROG Flow Z13 have displays with high resolution and brightness levels, making text sharp and content vivid, which is essential for everyday tasks and media consumption. In engineering and design work, accurate color reproduction is critical, and both laptops excel here with wide color gamuts covering DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB, allowing for precise color work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the refresh rate is crucial for fluid motion, and both models may not satisfy due to lower refresh rates, despite their satisfactory resolution and panel types.

How the ASUS Zenbook S 13 and the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 compare to other laptops
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 is the slimmest OLED ultrabook worldwide struggles with annoying fans. The new Zenbook S 13 leaves us with mixed feelings, particularly since last year's model was so good. Asus has completely reworked the device, making the laptop noticeably slimmer. The result also looks good and the case makes a great impression, particularly also in terms of the stability. The new plasma ceramic surface feels great, and there are no problems with fingerprints. In addition, it now includes some of the known connections such as an HDMI port and a regular USB-A connection, which is a good achievement in such a slim device."
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
