The Acer Swift X offers higher graphics performance suitable for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, which comes at a higher price compared to the HP Envy x360 15". However, the latter provides touch screen functionality and a larger display at a more affordable price, making it an attractive option for general use and entertainment. The Acer Swift X is lighter and thus more portable, but the HP Envy has a longer battery life, making it suitable for longer use away from a power source. If your tasks involve engineering software or gaming, the Acer's dedicated graphics card would be beneficial, while the HP is better suited for day-to-day productivity and media consumption. The Acer Swift X has a better screen than the HP Envy x360 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
The Acer Swift X's screen offers vibrant colors and sharp details due to its high resolution and brightness, making it suitable for everyday tasks and professional design work, as it adequately covers color gamuts important for such tasks. However, its standard refresh rate limits its appeal for 3D applications and gaming, where smoother motion from higher refresh rates is preferred. Conversely, the HP Envy x360's screen is decent for regular activities and can manage engineering software, but its average color range and modest resolution may not fully meet the needs of precision color work, while also falling short for gaming and animation due to its lower refresh rate.

The Acer Swift X (2021) and HP Envy x360 15" are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Acer Swift X (2021) with its dedicated Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU offers better graphical performance than the HP Envy x360 15", which relies on integrated graphics with its AMD Vega 7, but both are limited by their 60Hz screen refresh rates, which are not ideal for fast-paced gaming where higher refresh rates are preferred. Additionally, while the Acer might provide marginally better frame rates due to its GPU, neither laptop has the highest quality displays nor top-tier CPUs, which are important for demanding 3D tasks and gaming.

How the Acer Swift X (2021) and the HP Envy x360 15" compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"Despite its good looks, stellar webcam and comfortable keyboard, the Envy x360 15 is hard to recommend because of its dim, 16:9 display. If the display isn't an issue for you, just be sure to wait for a good sale price. Otherwise, a more modern two-in-one with a 16:10 display such as the Dell Inspiron 16 2-in-1 or Lenovo Yoga 7i 16 provides a larger workspace without adding much to the size and weight of the system."
