The Acer Swift X offers lower total weight and marginally longer battery life than the ASUS Zenbook Duo, making it slightly more portable. It also features a dedicated Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU suitable for demanding tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning. While it tends to be more affordable, its screen lacks touchscreen capabilities, which the Zenbook Duo offers, along with unique dual-screen functionality. The Zenbook's Intel Iris Xe graphics are integrated and less powerful than Swift's RTX 3050, but it boasts a higher battery capacity and extra USB-C ports with Thunderbolt. Both laptops run on similar storage and RAM but differ significantly in design and graphical power, so consider whether portability, battery life, touch features, or graphical tasks are your priority. How the Acer Swift X (2021) and the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
