The Acer Swift X (2022) commands a midrange price and offers better performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering likely due to its Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU. It has a smaller screen, is lighter, and is less expensive compared to the Lenovo Flex 5 16. However, it lacks a touchscreen and has a slightly less battery life. On the other hand, the Flex 5 16 is a convertible with a touchscreen, slightly better battery life, and a larger screen that could be useful for multitasking, but it is heavier and might not perform as well in GPU-intensive tasks due to its integrated graphics. Depending on whether you prioritize performance or flexibility and touchscreen capability, one may suit you better than the other. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift X has a better screen than the Lenovo Flex 5 16 for content creation, while the Lenovo Flex 5 16 has a better screen for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, the Acer Swift X and Lenovo Flex 5 16 offer panels with adequate resolution and brightness, making images and text clear and easy to view, which suits everyday activities like browsing the web and working with documents. For engineering and design, both laptops provide a decent range of colors, meeting the needs for precision in color work but may lack the fullest range seen in top tier displays. However, for gaming and 3D applications where smooth motion is key, their screens fall short because they have lower refresh rates, which can lead to less fluid visuals during fast-paced activities.

How the Acer Swift X (2022) and the Lenovo Flex 5 16 compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 is a solidly equipped, 2-in-1 in the lower price segment. Performance is definitely sufficient for everyday tasks and in tests the battery proved itself to be very economical. That aside, there is a lot of standard fare on show and a search for real highlights ends in vain. The low color coverage and reflective display can be avoided by going for an optional 2.5K display but this also presumably results in poorer battery life. The cooling uses only one fan and leads to a raised temperature on one side of the device under load. Additionally, there is very loud fan noise, also under load or when gaming. On top of that, we also occasionally noticed electronic noises."
