The Lenovo Flex 5 16 is a versatile 2-in-1 laptop, meaning it functions as both a laptop and a tablet. It's priced in the lower midrange, and offers a balanced suite of features suitable for general use. With an Intel i7 processor and 16GB of RAM, it's capable for most tasks. The integrated Iris Xe graphics can handle casual gaming and light graphic duties. The 512GB of storage should be enough for everyday use, while its 16-inch IPS touchscreen display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 offers a clear and vivid viewing experience. Its 11.5-hour battery life is decent, and at only 4.63 pounds, it's fairly portable. The Flex 5 16 supports USB-C charging but doesn't have Thunderbolt capability. This device shines with its flexibility and touch capabilities, but if you're seeking high performance for intensive gaming or engineering, you may want something with a dedicated GPU. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | April 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 is a solidly equipped, 2-in-1 in the lower price segment. Performance is definitely sufficient for everyday tasks and in tests the battery proved itself to be very economical. That aside, there is a lot of standard fare on show and a search for real highlights ends in vain. The low color coverage and reflective display can be avoided by going for an optional 2.5K display but this also presumably results in poorer battery life. The cooling uses only one fan and leads to a raised temperature on one side of the device under load. Additionally, there is very loud fan noise, also under load or when gaming. On top of that, we also occasionally noticed electronic noises."
