If you prioritize a stronger performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or more demanding engineering software, the Acer Swift X with its dedicated Nvidia graphics card outshines the ASUS Zenbook Duo. However, the Zenbook Duo may attract you with its unique dual-screen feature, which can be quite useful for multitasking, especially if you juggle multiple applications at once. The Acer is lighter and thus more portable, but the ASUS has a longer battery life and touch screen capabilities which are absent in the Acer. For intensive gaming, both laptops are an option, but the Acer again takes the lead due to its superior GPU. On a budget, ASUS tends to be less expensive, and if general use is the focus, both will serve well with slight preference to the Acer for its slightly better overall performance. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift X (2022) and ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 are both good for general use, though the Acer Swift X (2022) is somewhat better.
The Acer Swift X (2022) is rated better for general use primarily due to its superior CPU and additional RAM, which are crucial for smooth multitasking and overall performance, as well as its higher screen quality which means clearer and more vivid images for the user. On the other hand, while the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 offers a dual-screen setup favoring multitasking, it has less RAM, which may limit performance particularly in heavy workloads, and a lower resolution main display, although it counters with a slightly longer battery life and greater portability.

The Acer Swift X (2022) is good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 is only fair.
The Acer Swift X (2022) excels in engineering and design tasks due to its powerful Intel i7 CPU combined with a dedicated Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU, and a high-resolution screen which provides finer detail, while the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14, although equipped with a capable Intel i7 CPU and high-quality screen, relies on integrated graphics, which may limit performance in graphics-intensive tasks. However, the ASUS model features a second screen, enhancing multitasking for design work, but it's somewhat heavier and has less RAM than the Acer, affecting portability and the ability to handle large projects smoothly.

How the Acer Swift X (2022) and the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
