If you need a laptop for general use with good battery life and portability, the Acer Swift X is typically lighter and easier to carry around, making it suitable for those who are on the go. However, if you are looking for higher performance for gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning, the MSI Pulse GL66 usually offers more powerful hardware which can handle more intensive tasks but tends to be bulkier and have a shorter battery life. Note that the advanced capabilities of the MSI come at a higher price point, so if budget is a concern, the Acer Swift X may present a more cost-effective solution. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift X has a better screen than the MSI Pulse GL66 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the Acer Swift X's superior resolution and brightness make for a sharper and more visually appealing display, whereas the MSI Pulse GL66 provides an adequate but less impressive visual experience. In engineering and design, the Acer's wider color gamuts ensure more accurate color representation, which is crucial for detailed work, but the MSI falls short in reproducing the full range of colors professionals might need. When it comes to 3D tasks, both laptops are not ideal due to their lower refresh rates, although both manage to deliver the necessary resolution and acceptable panel quality for such applications.

How the Acer Swift X (2023) and the MSI Pulse GL66 compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"The MSI Pulse GL66 has a lot of potential for improvement. Although the RTX 3060 is only able to use 105 watts, we still liked the gaming performance, particularly since this also makes the Pulse comfortably efficient but not slow by any means. Neither the dark display with its lame response times, nor USB 2.0 or the lack of Thunderbolt will please real gamers. The use of a sticker factory seal, which is at least questionable, also won't inspire any enthusiasm. It is obvious that the laptop is really designed for price-conscious gamers."
