The Acer Swift X (2023) and MSI Bravo 15 are both good for general use, though the Acer Swift X (2023) is somewhat better.
The Acer Swift X (2023) with a more capable processor, double the RAM, higher resolution screen, and a longer battery life is considered good for general use, making it a more versatile and reliable choice for everyday tasks. In contrast, the MSI Bravo 15, though offering a fair experience for general use, is held back by its lower RAM, standard resolution screen, and shorter battery life, which might limit its overall efficiency and suitability for long-duration use without charging.

The Acer Swift X has a better screen than the MSI Bravo 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Acer Swift X boasts a display with high resolution and brightness, along with a suitable panel type that ensures crisp and vibrant visuals, highly suited for daily tasks and professional design work which require such clarity and color accuracy. Despite its capabilities, the Swift X lacks a high refresh rate, leading to less fluid motion which gamers and 3D professionals prefer. The MSI Bravo 15, while offering decent resolution and brightness, doesn't provide the wide color gamut needed for precise engineering and design tasks, and its lower refresh rate affects the smoothness in fast-paced gaming environments.

How the Acer Swift X (2023) and the MSI Bravo 15 compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"Overall, the MSI Bravo 15 C7U is a great gaming device for the masses that isn’t too pricey. The capable hardware (for the price range), the 144Hz display, and the comfortable keyboard are one of the things that should attract buyers who don’t want to spend a fortune on a new gaming laptop."
