The Acer Swift X (2023) is typically premium with better performance geared for intensive tasks like 3D design, machine learning, or gaming. The HP Stream 14", being more affordable, is intended for general use such as web browsing or word processing; performance for heavy software is limited. The Acer has a stronger build, higher-resolution screen, and more storage but comes with a higher price tag and potentially shorter battery life due to its powerful hardware. The HP is more portable due to its lighter weight and may have longer battery life, but with less power and storage. Choose the Acer Swift X if you need advanced capabilities or the HP Stream for everyday tasks and value. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift X has a better screen than the HP Stream 14" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Acer Swift X offers a clearer, sharper display and brighter visuals, making it ideal for everyday tasks and professional design work, where crisp text and accurate colors are crucial. For engineering and design, it has a wide range of colors, ensuring that the work appears true to life, which is essential for color-critical tasks. However, the HP Stream 14" has a lower-quality display throughout, with less vibrant colors and lower clarity, which can make detailed design work challenging and may cause games to look less immersive due to the lower resolution and lackluster color reproduction.

"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"With half of the main system memory and a fraction of the storage that we recommend in any budget Windows laptop, the HP Stream 14 does not impress. Perhaps it doesn't need to, depending on your reference point. For the price, you're getting a functional laptop with Windows 10, which already places the HP Stream 14 above most Chromebooks on that merit alone. Still, in this price range, you can't do much worse, but you can do better. In fact, for just $100 more, you can grab the much superior budget option, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14."
