The Acer Swift X is more affordable and offers good general use performance with a balance of portability, thanks to its lighter weight and longer battery life. It's well-suited for everyday tasks and casual gaming. On the other hand, the ASUS ROG Strix G17, while costlier and heavier, offers superior performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and intensive gaming, benefiting from a more powerful processor and graphics. Its larger screen with a higher refresh rate makes it ideal for gaming and engineering applications, but its size and shorter battery life reduce its portability. Give Feedback

How the Acer Swift X (2023) and the ASUS ROG Strix G17 compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"The Asus ROG Strix G17 is an attractive but unbalanced gaming laptop. Its potent AMD Ryzen 9 processor excels in 1080p gaming, but playing at 1440p leaves the middling GeForce RTX 4060 GPU shouldering most of the burden. The display is exceptionally colorful, which is handy for content creators, but since this is a gaming laptop it would be better served with improved HDR capabilities. If battery life isn't a priority, the Strix G17 could serve as a designer by day and a gamer by night."
