For general computing needs, you would appreciate the Acer Swift Go 14 due to its smaller size, lighter weight, and likely longer battery life, providing better portability. If your focus is on gaming or tasks requiring more graphics power, like 3D rendering or machine learning, the HP Victus 15 with its dedicated graphics card would be the better choice despite being heavier and probably having shorter battery life. The Acer's higher screen resolution is excellent for productivity with more screen real estate, while the HP's faster refresh rate benefits fast-paced games. The Acer might come with more RAM out of the box, which is useful for multitasking. In summary, for everyday use and mobility, Acer is a strong option, but for performance-oriented tasks, the HP may serve you better, and it's typically at a lower price point. Give Feedback

PCMag

Mark Knapp | May 2023
"The Acer Swift Go 14 is a surprising machine. Its performance, display, and battery life leave little to be desired from a device at this price. You might think it’d be cheaper given the “Go” in the name, or thinner given its close competition with thin-and-light laptops, but it manages to strike a decent enough balance between its capabilities and hardware to really stand out as an exceptional value."

Rtings

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
