The Acer Swift Go 14 is typically less expensive than the HP Spectre x360, with similar storage and RAM capacity, but it has a smaller, lower resolution display and a lower battery capacity, which may result in shorter battery life. It is also lighter and has a slightly higher portability score, making it easier to carry around. The Swift is good for general use with a decent performance score, but it has lower scores for 3D, machine learning, and engineering tasks when compared to the Spectre x360. The Spectre x360 has a larger, higher-resolution display which is better for color-sensitive work and has a stronger build quality as well as higher quality speakers and webcam. However, it is heavier which may affect its portability. Both laptops have touchscreens, backlit keyboards, and are billed as not suitable for intensive gaming. If you need stronger performance for tasks like 3D rendering or engineering and can handle a heavier device with a higher price, the HP Spectre x360 might be a better choice. Otherwise, for everyday tasks and easier portability at a lower cost, the Acer Swift Go 14 could suit your needs. Give Feedback

Mark Knapp | May 2023
"The Acer Swift Go 14 is a surprising machine. Its performance, display, and battery life leave little to be desired from a device at this price. You might think it’d be cheaper given the “Go” in the name, or thinner given its close competition with thin-and-light laptops, but it manages to strike a decent enough balance between its capabilities and hardware to really stand out as an exceptional value."

Eric Grevstad | August 2022
"As we said, Lenovo's Yoga 9i is a tough competitor to the Spectre with an equally admirable OLED display. We're sad that neither of them has an HDMI port nor a niche or slot to hold the stylus, though the HP wins points for its bundled mini docking station and magnetically attached pen. Your choice will come down to screen shape—and in our eyes, just as seeing an OLED screen spoils you for an IPS panel, enjoying a tall 3:2 display spoils you for a more conventional view. The HP Spectre x360 13.5 is our new favorite 2-in-1."
