The Gigabyte Aero 16 has a better screen than the Acer Swift 3 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Swift 3's screen delivers suitable resolution and brightness for everyday tasks and detail-oriented work in engineering, but its limited range of colors and lower refresh rate hamper the gaming and 3D experience. The Gigabyte Aero 16 excels with a high-resolution display and a wide color gamut, making it ideal for precision work in engineering and design, but like the Acer, it lacks the high refresh rate gamers and 3D designers seek for smooth visuals. General users and professionals in engineering and design will appreciate the visual clarity and color accuracy from both laptops, yet enthusiasts in gaming and 3D projects should consider alternatives optimized for those specific needs.

How the Acer Swift 3 and the Gigabyte Aero 16 compare to other laptops
"With the Swift 3, Acer delivers a 14-inch laptop with a sleek, slim metal chassis. The latter is of high quality and sturdy enough for everyday use, which is a real plus point among the 700-Euro (~$798) models. A new feature is Thunderbolt 4 in the Type-C format for peripherals or even displays (DisplayPort via Type-C). Unfortunately, a card reader is still missing, and the RAM is completely onboard, so there are no upgrade options here. Acer's 14-incher is affordable, yet it does everything most would want from a truly mobile laptop: Long battery life, a great display, quality, sufficient ports, light weight, and low noise and heat emissions."
"The Gigabyte Aero 16 is a workstation laptop for light gaming. It's design is still muted, with a silver chassis alongside a black keyboard and trackpad that provides some contrast. The Gigabyte Aero’s full-size chiclet-style keyboard is enjoyable to type on thanks to its snappy feel and responsiveness. The 4K+ AMOLED display is good, but it could be better. It doesn’t handle true black very well and suffers from strong reflections and glare. The Gigabyte Aero excels at productivity performance and can keep up with other gaming laptops in 1080p. But it has very few ports and its refresh rate leaves a bit to be desired."
