The Acer Swift 3 is more budget-friendly with bigger battery capacity, better for general use, and has higher performance scores for general, 3D/machine learning, and engineering tasks compared to the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14. It's lighter for easier portability and has a backlit keyboard advantageous for working in low light. However, the Zenbook Duo 14 has a more powerful main processor and offers unique features like a secondary touchscreen that could appeal to users wanting multitasking capabilities for creative or productivity tasks. It also has slightly better color coverage, which could be important for design work. The Acer is suitable for general use and a range of light to moderate computing tasks, while the ASUS, despite being heavier and having a shorter battery life, could be preferred for specific creative or multitasking demands. How the Acer Swift 3 and the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 compare to other laptops
"With the Swift 3, Acer delivers a 14-inch laptop with a sleek, slim metal chassis. The latter is of high quality and sturdy enough for everyday use, which is a real plus point among the 700-Euro (~$798) models. A new feature is Thunderbolt 4 in the Type-C format for peripherals or even displays (DisplayPort via Type-C). Unfortunately, a card reader is still missing, and the RAM is completely onboard, so there are no upgrade options here. Acer's 14-incher is affordable, yet it does everything most would want from a truly mobile laptop: Long battery life, a great display, quality, sufficient ports, light weight, and low noise and heat emissions."
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
