The Acer Swift 3 offers excellent value for general use with its budget-friendly price, solid performance, and good battery life. It's lightweight and portable, making it a great choice for on-the-go tasks. The touchscreen and backlit keyboard add convenience, though it may not excel in intensive gaming or specialized engineering tasks due to its more modest GPU. In contrast, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED is a step up in terms of display quality with its vibrant OLED screen, which is particularly beneficial for media consumption and tasks that require color accuracy. It also has a more powerful processor and higher refresh rate, catering better to gaming and more demanding applications. However, it's pricier, has less RAM which could impact multitasking performance, and the battery life is shorter compared to the Acer. If you prioritize portability, battery life, and general productivity on a budget, the Acer Swift 3 is the way to go. But if you're looking for a more immersive visual experience, stronger performance for gaming and creative work, and don't mind a higher cost and slightly reduced portability, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED would be the better choice. NotebookCheck

Sebastian Jentsch | February 2022
"With the Swift 3, Acer delivers a 14-inch laptop with a sleek, slim metal chassis. The latter is of high quality and sturdy enough for everyday use, which is a real plus point among the 700-Euro (~$798) models. A new feature is Thunderbolt 4 in the Type-C format for peripherals or even displays (DisplayPort via Type-C). Unfortunately, a card reader is still missing, and the RAM is completely onboard, so there are no upgrade options here. Acer's 14-incher is affordable, yet it does everything most would want from a truly mobile laptop: Long battery life, a great display, quality, sufficient ports, light weight, and low noise and heat emissions."

Darragh Murphy | November 2022
"The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop."
