The Acer Swift 3 is less expensive and lighter, making it more easily portable, and it offers a good balance for general use and a reasonable battery life. Conversely, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED, while more costly, provides markedly superior screen quality with OLED technology, a higher resolution, and a larger display, which enhances experience in visual tasks and entertainment. The Vivobook also has double the storage of the Swift 3 and a more powerful processor, making it better suited for intensive tasks, but it is heavier and may have shorter battery life. Give Feedback

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED has a better screen than the Acer Swift 3 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Swift 3 has a screen that offers decent resolution and brightness, making it suitable for everyday tasks like browsing and video streaming, while also providing solid color accuracy for engineering and design work. The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED, on the other hand, boasts superior color reproduction with its OLED panel, providing exceptional contrast and wide color gamuts that cater well to professional design environments; however, its lower refresh rate isn't ideal for smooth 3D rendering or gaming, where fluid motion is key. Both laptops may have less appeal for gamers or 3D professionals, as their screens don't prioritize the high refresh rates these activities typically require.

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED and Acer Swift 3 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED, equipped with a higher-end CPU and a faster screen refresh rate of 120 Hz, surpasses the Acer Swift 3 for gaming and 3D workloads; additionally, ASUS's OLED screen provides better image quality, which is an advantage for visual detail in such use cases. The Acer Swift 3's more modest CPU and 60 Hz screen refresh rate don't match the ASUS's specs, making it less suitable for demanding gaming and 3D applications although still capable for casual play.

How the Acer Swift 3 and the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED compare to other laptops
"With the Swift 3, Acer delivers a 14-inch laptop with a sleek, slim metal chassis. The latter is of high quality and sturdy enough for everyday use, which is a real plus point among the 700-Euro (~$798) models. A new feature is Thunderbolt 4 in the Type-C format for peripherals or even displays (DisplayPort via Type-C). Unfortunately, a card reader is still missing, and the RAM is completely onboard, so there are no upgrade options here. Acer's 14-incher is affordable, yet it does everything most would want from a truly mobile laptop: Long battery life, a great display, quality, sufficient ports, light weight, and low noise and heat emissions."
"The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop."
