For intensive engineering tasks or gaming, the Acer Nitro 5 15 with its Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU will offer superior performance, but it is heavier and has a lower battery life, compromising on portability. On the other hand, the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo is much lighter, offers a longer battery life, and has a touchscreen with a taller aspect ratio, making it better suited for general use and business applications. The MSI model also has a higher color accuracy, which is beneficial for creative work where color representation matters, but lacks the dedicated graphics power of the Acer, making it less suitable for graphic-intensive applications. How the Acer Nitro 5 15 and the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo compare to other laptops
"The Acer Nitro 5 is a fast QHD gaming notebook. The Nitro 5 is a well-balanced gaming laptop for just under US$ 2400. A Core i7-12700H CPU and a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU enable QHD gaming at high to maximum settings, accompanied by fast PCIe-4-SSD (1 TB) and 16 GB of RAM. Acer delivers a solid QHD gaming notebook with the Nitro 5 AN515-58. However, the laptop is not completely free of shortcomings. The CPU and GPU can work at consistently high clock rates. The laptop heats up noticeably under load, but not excessively. Noise development is on the usual class level. Once again, however, Acer needs to improve the fan control."
"MSI wants to prove that it can do more than just gaming laptops and the Summit E13 Flip is a great example of what the manufacturer is capable of especially in terms of aesthetics and performance. Normally for subnotebooks or convertibles, TDP and performance are often below average as makers want to meet slimmer designs and lower weight targets. The Summit manages to outperform others in its size class and category while still looking sleek and portable in the process. If you want a convertible that won't throttle significantly when under load, then this MSI will be one of the better options you can find."
