The Acer Nitro 5 is considerably less expensive than the Gigabyte Aero 16 and has lower performance due to its i5 processor and RTX 4050 GPU compared to the Aero's i7 processor and RTX 3070 Ti GPU. The Nitro's display is a 15.6-inch IPS with a standard resolution, while the Aero features a superior 16-inch OLED display with very high resolution and color accuracy, but a lower refresh rate. The Aero has more battery capacity but also weighs slightly less, making it more portable. Choose the Nitro for budget-friendliness and good gaming, or the Aero if higher performance, better display quality, and portability are priorities despite the higher price. Give Feedback

How the Acer Nitro 5 15 and the Gigabyte Aero 16 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Nitro 5 is a fast QHD gaming notebook. The Nitro 5 is a well-balanced gaming laptop for just under US$ 2400. A Core i7-12700H CPU and a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU enable QHD gaming at high to maximum settings, accompanied by fast PCIe-4-SSD (1 TB) and 16 GB of RAM. Acer delivers a solid QHD gaming notebook with the Nitro 5 AN515-58. However, the laptop is not completely free of shortcomings. The CPU and GPU can work at consistently high clock rates. The laptop heats up noticeably under load, but not excessively. Noise development is on the usual class level. Once again, however, Acer needs to improve the fan control."
"The Gigabyte Aero 16 is a workstation laptop for light gaming. It's design is still muted, with a silver chassis alongside a black keyboard and trackpad that provides some contrast. The Gigabyte Aero’s full-size chiclet-style keyboard is enjoyable to type on thanks to its snappy feel and responsiveness. The 4K+ AMOLED display is good, but it could be better. It doesn’t handle true black very well and suffers from strong reflections and glare. The Gigabyte Aero excels at productivity performance and can keep up with other gaming laptops in 1080p. But it has very few ports and its refresh rate leaves a bit to be desired."
