The Acer Nitro 5 15 offers a larger screen and stronger battery capacity, making it suitable for gaming or tasks that need more screen real estate, but it's heavier which impacts portability. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13, while more expensive, provides a higher resolution touchscreen and is considerably lighter, enhancing its portability and making it better for travel or use on-the-go. It's also more efficient for tasks that benefit from a high-quality display, like design work or video editing. If budget is a concern and you prefer a larger display, the Acer might be the better option, whereas if you're looking for premium portability with a sharper screen, the ASUS would be a more fitting choice. NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | June 2022
"The Acer Nitro 5 is a fast QHD gaming notebook. The Nitro 5 is a well-balanced gaming laptop for just under US$ 2400. A Core i7-12700H CPU and a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU enable QHD gaming at high to maximum settings, accompanied by fast PCIe-4-SSD (1 TB) and 16 GB of RAM. Acer delivers a solid QHD gaming notebook with the Nitro 5 AN515-58. However, the laptop is not completely free of shortcomings. The CPU and GPU can work at consistently high clock rates. The laptop heats up noticeably under load, but not excessively. Noise development is on the usual class level. Once again, however, Acer needs to improve the fan control."

Andreas Osthoff | March 2022
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
