Choosing between the Acer Nitro 17 and the Dell XPS 13 depends on your needs. The Acer Nitro 17 offers robust performance suitable for gaming, 3D rendering, and intensive tasks due to a more powerful processor and graphics card, a larger screen, and a higher refresh rate. However, it's heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable. In contrast, the Dell XPS 13 is more portable due to its smaller size, lighter weight, and longer battery life. It's well-suited for general use and productivity tasks but may not handle intensive gaming or engineering tasks as effectively as the Nitro 17. Give Feedback

PCMag

Mark Knapp | October 2023
"The Acer Nitro 17 isn't an exceptional gaming laptop; it's kind of chunky even among 17.3-inch notebooks, with a lackluster keyboard, and it doesn't outperform comparably priced machines. But there's a lot to like about it, including a good array of ports, a screen that's sharp and bright for work and play alike, and battery life that soundly beats the competition. All this comes at an affordable price. If size and weight aren't big concerns, you'll find the Nitro 17 a dependable big-screen gaming rig. If you crave higher quality, consider a slight step down or up in screen size with the Lenovo Legion Slim 5 Gen 8 or Alienware m18 respectively."

The Verge

Monica Chen | April 2023
"In the past, the XPS 13 was a hands-down contender for the best laptop on the market. But the Apple-silicon MacBook has since barrelled onto the scene, and it wipes the floor with most of the ultraportable Windows laptops that cross my desk on a daily basis. This XPS is no exception. Compared to the M2 MacBook Air, battery life is worse."
