For better performance in tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming, the Acer Nitro 16 is the superior option with a more powerful processor, higher-quality graphics, and more RAM; however, it comes at a higher price and is less portable due to a heavier design. In contrast, the Dell Inspiron 15 3520 is more affordable and lightweight, making it easier to carry, but it has lower capacity for demanding applications and storage. If your use is primarily general tasks and portability is essential, the Dell might serve well, while the Acer is better suited for demanding use but is bulkier and costlier. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | June 2023
"Video editing, rendering and, of course, gaming represent the Nitro 16's core competencies with a Ryzen 7 7735HS and GeForce RTX 4070 providing the necessary power. Both chips run at consistently high clock speeds. A fast PCIe 4 SSD (1 TB) provides the required storage space and ensures short loading times. With the Nitro 16 AN16-41, Acer has a well-specced, mid-range gaming laptop in its portfolio."

PCMag

Mark Knapp | January 2023
"Dell's Inspiron 15 (3525) is a peppy-enough and affordable-enough home or remote work machine, but it's not very ambitious; it does little to go beyond the basics. More the concern: It’s readily overshadowed by a number of machines that outperform and outclass it. Even if the Inspiron can get the job done today, its competition has the mettle to keep doing the job tomorrow in a way the Inspiron simply can’t promise. Plus, those alternatives are much more enjoyable after work."
