If you prioritize portability and have a limited budget, the Acer Aspire 3 could serve your needs for general tasks. However, for enhanced performance in 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is better suited, though it comes at a higher price. The Lenovo has higher storage capacity, more memory, and a stronger processor and graphics card, which are vital for intensive tasks. Additionally, its higher battery capacity supports longer unplugged use. On the downside, the Acer offers greater battery life for typical usage and is lighter, making it easier to carry around. Choose the Acer for everyday tasks or the Lenovo for demanding applications and gaming. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Acer Aspire 3's screen quality is adequate due to its resolution and brightness, which provide clear and visible content under most conditions, although it might not be as sharp or vivid as other options. The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 excels in screen quality for engineering and design because it offers a wide color gamut, ensuring accurate color representation necessary for detailed work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the Lenovo Legion's lower refresh rate may not deliver as smooth visuals compared to displays designed specifically for those purposes.

"The Acer Aspire 3 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and it's easy to carry around. The display looks decently sharp and provides plenty of space for multitasking, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i3-N305 CPU and integrated graphics can only handle simple tasks, like text processing, web browsing, and video playback, so it isn't ideal for students in more technical fields like 3D graphics. Unfortunately, the battery lasts only around six to seven hours of light use."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
