If you are primarily interested in multitasking and productivity, the ASUS Zenbook Duo with its dual-screen setup could be more beneficial, despite being a bit more expensive and somewhat heavier. However, if you prefer a lighter, gaming-capable laptop with better graphics performance, thanks to its dedicated Nvidia GPU, and a more prominent, faster refresh screen, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 would be a better fit. The Legion also has a slightly superior battery life and offers a larger storage capacity straight out of the box. The tradeoff for the Zenbook's unique dual-screen feature would be less graphical power compared to the Legion, which might impact performance in tasks like gaming or 3D rendering. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | May 2020
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."

NotebookCheck

Benjamin Herzig | November 2022
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
