When choosing between the Acer Aspire 3 15 and the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo, consider what you prioritize. If budget is a major concern and general use is your goal, the Acer is more affordable with decent performance and a longer battery life. However, the ASUS offers considerably more storage, higher RAM, and a much stronger processor, well-suited for demanding tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering software. The ASUS also boasts an OLED touchscreen and superior color accuracy, making it great for creative professionals. While both are relatively lightweight, the Acer is slightly heavier but compensates with its budget-friendly price. The ASUS, meanwhile, leads in build quality, heat management, and speaker quality, but has a shorter battery life, which should be considered if you're frequently on the move. Give Feedback

Alexander Tozzi, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and it's easy to carry around. The display looks decently sharp and provides plenty of space for multitasking, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i3-N305 CPU and integrated graphics can only handle simple tasks, like text processing, web browsing, and video playback, so it isn't ideal for students in more technical fields like 3D graphics. Unfortunately, the battery lasts only around six to seven hours of light use."
"The Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED is a well-tuned instrument for content creators, excelling at a range of general office tasks as well as tasks that require a little more grunt like encoding and 3D rendering. The big attraction is the laptop’s dual displays. They’re the best ones we’ve used in an Asus Zenbook Duo laptop to date with a spate of year-on-year improvements that make the visuals more striking and the cross-screen integration easier than ever before."
