When choosing between the Audeze Maxwell and the "Nothing" Brand Ear Stick, consider the following tradeoffs: The Audeze Maxwell offers superior sound quality with its planar magnetic drivers and is better for immersive listening experiences, yet it is much more expensive. With a dongle connection and high-quality microphone, it is also more suitable for professional use and gaming due to lower latency. On the other hand, the "Nothing" Ear Stick has a more portable design with its stemmed earbuds, is significantly less expensive, and has a low latency mode, which can still be suitable for casual gaming and listening. However, its open design may let in more ambient noise, possibly making it less ideal for noisy environments. Give Feedback

Sound Guys

Christian Thomas | August 2023
"Despite a few caveats, the Audeze Maxwell is one of the best-performing gaming headsets on the market and should top the ranks for a few buyers — provided the budget (and neck strength) is there. Gaming headsets have their work cut out for them, and their audience is historically unkind to performance flaws. If you’re an older gamer with some cash to blow, you should be pleased with the Audeze Maxwell."

Sound Guys

Jasper Lastoria | December 2022
"If the Ear (stick) fits your ears, its light weight means you can easily wear it until the unimpressive battery life totally drains. The IP54 rating of the buds lends some confidence that it’ll survive some light abuse too. Finally, for the person who only wears earbuds at their desk, the Nothing Ear (stick) with its decent microphone could offer a reasonable Zoom meeting solution."
