If portability and wireless convenience are top priorities, along with a preference for earbuds and seamless integration with Apple devices, the Apple AirPods (3rd generation) are suitable, offering good sound, adaptive sound features, and spatial audio, but they do not isolate noise well. However, if you want over-ear headphones with active noise cancelling and a longer battery life at a lower price point, the JBL Tune 660NC would be better, especially for air travel or noisy environments, but they are not as portable and have poorer sound quality for calls and music. Sound Guys

Lily Katz, Christian Thomas | February 2023
"The Apple AirPods improves upon the 2019 model with its more ergonomic, yet unsealed, fit, water-resistant build, MagSafe charging case, and advanced software features. You can enjoy a wholly immersive movie experience with the new AirPods' spatial audio with head tracking, and enjoy HD audio during FaceTime calls. Of course, most of these features are limited to Apple hardware."

Chase Bernath | April 2023
"The JBL Tune 660NC is the best value you can get from a set of on-ear headphones. There's no companion app so you don't get many additional features, but everything the JBL Tune 660NC sets out to do, it does well. At this price, the JBL Tune 660NC is an easy recommendation for on-ear headphone lovers"
