If you often listen to music and prioritize sound quality and soundstage, the Sennheiser 560S, being over-ear headphones, offer superior audio and an open soundstage, making them an excellent choice. However, they lack a built-in microphone, making them unsuitable for calls. The Apple AirPods (3rd generation), being earbuds, provide good sound, are more portable, and have a built-in mic for calls. They are also sweatproof and have a lower latency, valuable for exercise and watching videos. Note that the Sennheisers are not wireless and won't isolate noise as effectively as the AirPods, which could matter in noisier environments. Give Feedback

Sound Guys

Lily Katz, Christian Thomas | February 2023
"The Apple AirPods improves upon the 2019 model with its more ergonomic, yet unsealed, fit, water-resistant build, MagSafe charging case, and advanced software features. You can enjoy a wholly immersive movie experience with the new AirPods' spatial audio with head tracking, and enjoy HD audio during FaceTime calls. Of course, most of these features are limited to Apple hardware."

Kazi Mahbub Mutakabbir | March 2022
"Sennheiser made a near perfect pair of studio monitors with the HD 560S. Flat bass response? Check. Neutral and uncolored midrange? Check. Extended treble with a bit of lower-treble emphasis to highlight mastering flaws? Check. Fairly easy to drive? Check. Good soundstage and imaging? Check, and check."
