If you value wide soundstage and superior music performance above all and don't mind the expense and heft, the Audeze LCD 2 Classic is the way to go. However, they are much heavier and less suitable for use during exercise, air travel, or extended periods due to their open design. On the other hand, the AKG K361 is much lighter, portable, offers better noise isolation, making it versatile for more practical use including light exercise and travel. Keep in mind that while they provide good overall sound quality, they may not match the Audeze’s depth in music. Both lack features like wireless connectivity and active noise cancelling.
