If you're on a budget and looking for a large screen TV, the Toshiba C350LU could be a suitable option, but keep in mind that it has poor overall picture quality, making it less ideal for dark rooms or for viewing detailed content. It also performs poorly in bright rooms and for gaming. However, it has a good viewing angle, which could be beneficial if you often watch TV from different positions around the room. On the other hand, the TCL R745 costs more but offers better performance for gaming, a fair experience for sports content, and it has a higher quality speaker setup with 50 watts of power. It's also a much larger TV at 85 inches if you're looking for a more immersive experience. Both TVs support Dolby Vision and HDR10+, which are popular HDR formats that enhance picture quality for compatible content. The TCL with its fair HDR performance could provide a better experience for HDR content, but both TVs are not considered strong in this regard. Keep in mind the Toshiba has 3 HDMI ports, while the TCL offers 4, which may be important if you plan to connect multiple devices. Give Feedback

About TCL

TCL, the highly recognizable TV brand from China, has firmly established itself as the second-largest manufacturer in terms of sales volume. Renowned for striking an impressive balance between affordability, picture quality, and design, TCL TVs deliver a compelling overall package. While they have traditionally excelled in the low-end and midrange TV segments, TCL has recently made remarkable strides in the realm of high-end televisions, introducing impressive models that rival top competitors. Most TCL TVs use Roku software which is very user friendly and easy to use, but they have a few other models that use Google TV which has the largest app selection, but is not as user friendly as Roku.
