The Sony X90J has a higher overall picture quality and is notably better for gaming, with excellent motion processing and low input lag. It performs well in both dark and bright rooms but is more costly. The Vizio P-Series is less expensive and offers great performance in bright rooms. It has superb contrast and good HDR brightness, but its motion processing is not as refined as the Sony's, making it less ideal for gaming. If gaming is a priority and you're okay with a higher cost, the Sony X90J would be a strong choice. If you're looking to save some money and watch mainly in bright rooms, consider the Vizio P-Series.
