If you watch a lot of movies and require strong performance in brighter rooms, the Samsung Q60B may be the better choice as it performs better with movie content and in brightly lit environments. The Samsung Q60B is also less expensive than the TCL R745. On the other hand, if you are an avid gamer and can afford to spend more, the TCL R745 offers superior gaming performance and has a higher refresh rate, which can provide a smoother gaming experience. Neither TV has perfect gray or black uniformity, something to consider if that is important for your viewing. Both TVs support HDR, but the TCL R745 supports the superior Dolby Vision format for potentially better HDR performance.
