The Samsung Q60C delivers good SDR brightness and upscaling, which is important for clear viewing in bright rooms and when watching lower-resolution content, but its local dimming is rated poorly, affecting contrast in darker scenes. The Vizio Quantum Pro has very good SDR brightness and better local dimming, enhancing contrast for TV programs, but its upscaling is not as effective as Samsung's, which could affect the clarity of non-HD channels.
