The Hisense U6G is a more budget-friendly option that provides good overall picture quality and gaming performance; it's notably cheaper than the Vizio Quantum Pro, making it a good choice for price-sensitive buyers. However, if you have a bit more to spend and prefer a TV with a brighter screen for well-lit rooms and better HDR performance, the Vizio Quantum Pro might be worth the extra investment. Just keep in mind that the Vizio may not provide as high quality an experience in darker viewing environments when compared to the Hisense. Also, the Hisense may offer a smoother motion for fast-moving content like sports due to its specific panel technology. Give Feedback

About Hisense

Hisense, a Chinese TV manufacturer, entered the US market in approximately 2011 and has since acquired TV divisions from various companies such as Toshiba, Sharp, Hitachi, and NEC. Currently ranking as the fourth largest vendor in terms of sales volume, Hisense aims to capture a wide range of TV budget segments. They offer exceptional value with TVs that often outperform their competitors at similar price points, making them a compelling choice for consumers. In the US, they use Google TV as their smart TV software which provides the largest app selection and a very modern user interface, however it is not as user friendly as the software from other vendors.

About Vizio

Vizio is an American company. While they initially gained recognition for offering budget-friendly TVs, they have successfully expanded their product lineup to include high-end options as well. They manufacture TVs primarily in Mexico, China, and Vietnam. Similar to many Korean TV brands, Vizio developed its own smart TV software called SmartCast. In the past, SmartCast was not the best smart TV software, but it has evolved so that it is now good for using your TV and connecting to streaming services.
