However, it has a lower overall picture quality, especially in darker rooms, and its gaming performance is not as strong. On the other hand, the Sony X90J, while more expensive, delivers superior performance across the board—better for movies, sports, and notably stronger for gaming due to its higher refresh rate. It also performs well in both dark and bright rooms and has a more effective local dimming feature which improves contrast. If budget is a top concern and you primarily watch news or animated content, the Samsung might be suitable.
