If you care about overall picture quality and are looking for a good experience in brighter rooms, the Samsung Q60A might be the better choice, although it is more expensive. The Q60A also offers very good performance for cartoons and animation, and is a reasonable option for news, talk, and reality TV. However, its gaming performance is poor, so it's not the optimal choice for video games. On the other hand, the Samsung CU8000 is less expensive, but it doesn’t perform as well in terms of overall picture quality, with poor ratings for both dark and bright rooms. If budget is a major concern and you mostly watch content that is not very dependent on high picture quality, like news or talk shows, the CU8000 could suffice. Give Feedback

CNET

Geoffrey Morrison | June 2021
"The least expensive QLED is a solid choice for Samsung fans. Right out of the gate my eye was drawn to the Samsung. It is bright. The quantum dots let the Q60A produce far deeper, richer colors than the Vizio and TCL"
