Choosing between the LG B2 OLED and Samsung QN90C LCD depends on what you value most in your viewing experience. For movie enthusiasts and those who prefer gaming in darker environments, the LG B2 OLED offers deep blacks and high contrast, a significant advantage in dark room settings. It also has a wider viewing angle, making it suitable for rooms where viewers are spread out. However, if your viewing space is brightly lit, the Samsung QN90C LCD might be a better fit due to its superior performance in bright room conditions. It has higher brightness levels and better handling of reflections. The Q90C also includes better built-in speakers, potentially reducing the need for an external sound system. If cost is a concern, the LG B2 generally comes at a lower price point than the Samsung QN90C. When it comes to LCD versus OLED, keep in mind that OLED screens have the risk of burn-in over time, especially with static content, whereas LCD screens do not, but OLEDs offer superior black levels and contrast. Each TV supports different HDR formats, so consider which formats are important for your content. The Samsung QN90C supports HDR10+ while the LG B2 supports Dolby Vision. Both are high-performing TVs but prioritize according to your viewing habits, room conditions, and budget. Give Feedback

Tom's guide

Nick Pino | March 2023
"The LG B2 OLED pairs lush, saturated colors and perfect contrast with a 120Hz screen, HDMI 2.1 ports and a great smart TV platform. The LG B2 OLED is an ideal alternative to the LG C2 OLED for folks who want a taste of OLED life without the sticker price that usually comes with it. The LG B2 OLED does a lot right in terms of performance, color saturation is wonderful and contrast is second-to-none. Not only did color saturation and off-axis viewing impress me, harder to quantify specs like motion processing and upscaling really blew me away as well."
