If you're on a tight budget and primarily use your TV to watch news or as a monitor, the Insignia F30 might suit your needs. However, if you're looking for higher quality across movies, sports, and gaming, with better performance in both dark and bright rooms, the Sony X90J would be a superior choice, although it comes at a higher cost. The Sony's superior motion processing and upscaling mean that fast action and lower resolution content will look better. The Sony X90J also supports advanced audio and HDR formats like Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, which are absent on the Insignia F30. Keep in mind, though, that the Sony's viewing angles are not as wide as the Insignia's IPS screen, so it may not be the best pick if you often watch TV from off-center positions. Give Feedback

About Sony

Sony's high-end TVs are often regarded as the ultimate choice for videophiles, representing the epitome of quality, albeit at a premium price point. Renowned for their advanced and precise motion handling, as well as their cutting-edge local dimming algorithms, Sony consistently delivers unparalleled performance in these areas. They include Google TV software with all their TV sets, which grants access to the largest selection of apps available and they also include Bravia Core which is a movie streaming platform specifically for Sony TVs that offers higher picture quality by using more bandwidth.
