The TCL Q7 is a solid midrange choice that offers good overall picture quality and excellent gaming performance, making it suitable for gamers who want smooth motion and low input lag. It performs well in both dark and bright rooms, though not as impressively as the Hisense UX in a bright room. The TCL's sound quality is fair, and it lacks advanced audio features like Dolby Atmos or DTS:X, which might be a drawback if you're looking for an immersive audio experience without external speakers. On the other hand, the Hisense UX, while more expensive, delivers superior bright room performance, which is ideal if you have a lot of windows or overhead lighting. It also has a larger screen size at 85 inches, which can be a game-changer if you're looking to fill a large space or want a more immersive viewing experience. The Hisense boasts better color accuracy and volume, enhancing the visual experience for movies and shows. It also comes with better built-in speakers, offering a 4.1.2 setup with Dolby Atmos, which is great for enjoying cinematic sound without the need for additional sound systems. In summary, if you prioritize gaming and are looking for a cost-effective option with decent performance across various content types, the TCL Q7 is a strong contender. However, if you desire the best bright room performance, a larger screen, and superior built-in audio, and you're willing to invest more, the Hisense UX would be the better choice. Give Feedback

About Hisense

Hisense, a Chinese TV manufacturer, entered the US market in approximately 2011 and has since acquired TV divisions from various companies such as Toshiba, Sharp, Hitachi, and NEC. Currently ranking as the fourth largest vendor in terms of sales volume, Hisense aims to capture a wide range of TV budget segments. They offer exceptional value with TVs that often outperform their competitors at similar price points, making them a compelling choice for consumers. In the US, they use Google TV as their smart TV software which provides the largest app selection and a very modern user interface, however it is not as user friendly as the software from other vendors.

About TCL

TCL, the highly recognizable TV brand from China, has firmly established itself as the second-largest manufacturer in terms of sales volume. Renowned for striking an impressive balance between affordability, picture quality, and design, TCL TVs deliver a compelling overall package. While they have traditionally excelled in the low-end and midrange TV segments, TCL has recently made remarkable strides in the realm of high-end televisions, introducing impressive models that rival top competitors. Most TCL TVs use Roku software which is very user friendly and easy to use, but they have a few other models that use Google TV which has the largest app selection, but is not as user friendly as Roku.
