If you need a more affordable option and mainly watch news or daytime TV shows in well-lit rooms, the Insignia F30 could suit your needs despite its lower picture quality in both dark and bright environments. On the other hand, if you are willing to invest in a premium viewing experience for movies, sports, and gaming, and want superior contrast and brightness, especially in HDR, the Hisense UX would be a better choice. Note that the Hisense has great colors straight out of the box, supports advanced audio formats like Dolby Atmos, and is well-suited for bright room viewing due to its excellent reflection handling. Keep in mind, though, it comes at a higher price point. Give Feedback

About Hisense

Hisense, a Chinese TV manufacturer, entered the US market in approximately 2011 and has since acquired TV divisions from various companies such as Toshiba, Sharp, Hitachi, and NEC. Currently ranking as the fourth largest vendor in terms of sales volume, Hisense aims to capture a wide range of TV budget segments. They offer exceptional value with TVs that often outperform their competitors at similar price points, making them a compelling choice for consumers. In the US, they use Google TV as their smart TV software which provides the largest app selection and a very modern user interface, however it is not as user friendly as the software from other vendors.

About Insignia

Insignia is an in-house brand from BestBuy. It offers a range of TV sets that are lower-end and smaller size. They are manufactured in China by Hisense, which is another TV brand. Insignia TVs use Amazon's Fire OS as the smart TV software, providing users with a highly user-friendly experience.
