If you're looking for a TV with better overall picture quality and a more advanced gaming experience at a lower price, the Hisense U7H is a strong choice as it has a higher overall picture quality and gaming score. However, it won't perform as well in bright rooms compared to the Samsung Q70A, which has a slightly better bright room performance. Keep in mind, the Samsung Q70A is more expensive, though it offers better black uniformity and viewing angles, which might be important if you often watch TV from different positions in the room. Both TVs support gaming features and have similar sound quality, but the Hisense supports both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, offering broader HDR compatibility than the Samsung, which doesn't support Dolby Vision. Tom's guide

Christian de Looper | December 2022
"We loved the Hisense U7H. It was able to deliver an excellent all-around image quality in its price range. The TV excels at controlling its backlighting in a way that ensures you’ll never experience blooming to a level of being distracting, something that I was a little surprised to see given the lack of Mini LED. The TV doesn’t just get decently bright it offers relatively accurate color reproduction for a TV in this price range. The TV is being billed excellent for gaming."

About Hisense

Hisense, a Chinese TV manufacturer, entered the US market in approximately 2011 and has since acquired TV divisions from various companies such as Toshiba, Sharp, Hitachi, and NEC. Currently ranking as the fourth largest vendor in terms of sales volume, Hisense aims to capture a wide range of TV budget segments. They offer exceptional value with TVs that often outperform their competitors at similar price points, making them a compelling choice for consumers. In the US, they use Google TV as their smart TV software which provides the largest app selection and a very modern user interface, however it is not as user friendly as the software from other vendors.

About Samsung

Samsung, a South Korean electronics manufacturer, holds the title of being the largest global TV vendor in terms of units sold. They offer a diverse lineup of TV products that cater to various budget ranges. A notable achievement in recent years is the development of Quantum Dots, a technology that enhances color reproduction, resulting in richer and more vibrant hues. Samsung TVs are well-regarded for their high manufacturing quality and user-friendly software, making them an excellent choice for consumers seeking an intuitive viewing experience.
