The Hisense U7H is typically much less expensive than the Sony X90J and offers good gaming performance. However, it doesn't handle sports content as well, and its picture quality is somewhat lower than the X90J. The Sony X90J costs more but can better handle sports, has slightly better overall picture quality, and performs similarly in bright room conditions to the U7H. If budget is a concern and you mainly play video games, the Hisense U7H could be the better choice. But if you're willing to invest more for improved sports viewing and overall picture quality, the Sony X90J would be the recommendation. Give Feedback

The Sony X90J (LCD) and Hisense U7H (LCD) are both good for movies & TV, though the Sony X90J (LCD) is somewhat better.
The Sony X90J is well-regarded for watching movies and cinematic TV due to its high contrast ratio and effective local dimming feature that enhances black uniformity, making dark scenes in movies appear more profound and true-to-life. Although the Hisense U7H also offers a good contrast ratio with decent local dimming, its black uniformity is not as strong as the Sony's, potentially leading to less consistent darkness in cinematic content, however, it does deliver rich and vibrant colors out of the box.

How the Hisense U7H (LCD) and the Sony X90J (LCD) compare to other TVs
"We loved the Hisense U7H. It was able to deliver an excellent all-around image quality in its price range. The TV excels at controlling its backlighting in a way that ensures you’ll never experience blooming to a level of being distracting, something that I was a little surprised to see given the lack of Mini LED. The TV doesn’t just get decently bright it offers relatively accurate color reproduction for a TV in this price range. The TV is being billed excellent for gaming."
