If you value sharp, high-resolution images for productivity or detailed media consumption, and can afford a higher price, the Gigabyte M28U with its larger screen and 4K resolution is a solid choice. However, if you prioritize vibrant colors for tasks like digital photo editing or print photo editing, the MSI G274QPF-QD offers an expansive color gamut despite its lower price and smaller, less crisp QHD resolution. For casual gaming, both are quite similar, but for competitive gaming the MSI has a slight edge due to a higher refresh rate, which can result in smoother gameplay. Neither is optimal for HDR gaming or video editing, so if that's a requirement, you might consider other options. Give Feedback

PC Gamer

Jacob Ridley | January 2022
"Fundamentally the M28U is an impressive 4K monitor; between the resolution, refresh rate, and IPS panel, it's a great all-rounder for the step up to 4K. Even beyond PC gaming, the inclusion of a HDMI 2.1 port offers 120Hz gaming for consoles, so it's quite the multi-faceted package for its price. Gigabyte has made no major sacrifice to tick all the checkboxes with the M28U."
