If you're on a budget and primarily interested in competitive gaming, the Dell S2522HG, with its high refresh rate and very good response time, would serve you well while saving you money. However, if you prefer a larger screen with higher resolution for a more immersive gaming and media experience, and you engage in some digital photo editing, the LG 32GP850 might be worth the extra investment. Keep in mind that while the LG has nicer color gamut coverage, which is better for creative tasks, it won't give you as much of a competitive edge in fast-paced gaming due to its slightly lower refresh rate and response time compared to the Dell. IGN

Matthew Smith | February 2022
"The Dell S2522HG changes the game. This 24.5-inch 1080p gaming monitor has a 240Hz refresh rate, yet it’s commonly sold for $249.99. That’s just tens of dollars more than an average 1080p 144Hz gaming monitor. The S2522HG cuts a few corners in its pursuit of pricing, but it’s a great choice for competitive gamers on a budget."
