If competitive gaming is your priority and you want a very high refresh rate, the Dell Alienware AW2721D (IPS) would be the better choice. However, if you're looking for an immersive gaming and media experience with superior contrast, deeper blacks, and are interested in HDR content, the Dell Alienware AW3423DWF (QD-OLED) would be more suitable despite its slightly lower refresh rate. The QD-OLED model also offers a wider color gamut, making it better for tasks that require color accuracy, such as photo editing. Keep in mind, though, that the AW3423DWF's curved screen and ultrawide aspect ratio might not be as optimal for productivity tasks that benefit from a traditional flat screen and 16:9 aspect ratio. "It may seem like a minor tweak, but the addition of a glossy anti-glare coating makes all the difference. It really lets the OLED panel rip. That this revised "F" model is also cheaper than the OG Alienware OLED and the similarly glossy Philips competition seals the deal. This is our new favourite among the OLED monitor massive."
